| We at Rainbow Connection value your patronage and to make your lives a little easier have compiled some of our most frequently asked questions. There are times when we are on the phone with studio directors and know how frustrating it can be for you when you need answers NOW!!! Q.) I'VE ALREADY SENT IN MY ENTRIES AND FORGOT A ROUTINE. A.) Please call us at 702-384-6240 or e-mail us and let us know the specifics. Please overnight a hard copy of the original entry form with payment upon approval. If your entries are received later than 5 days prior to the competition, they will not be in the souvenir program. Q.) HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO THE ENTRIES I'VE SENT? A.) Simply call us at 702-384-6240 to let us know the changes that need to be made or email your changes to registration@rainbowdance.com. You have until 5 days prior to the competition to make your changes if you want them to appear in the printed program, or up to 48hrs prior to competition if you are OK with your changes not appearing in the program. Q.) DO YOU ACCEPT CD'S? A.) Yes! You can have all your routines on one CD, or individual CD's. Cassettes are always welcome as well. Q.) WHAT TIME DO WE NEED TO BE THERE? A.) You need to turn in your music one hour prior to your first routine. Although we usually have registration at 7:00 or 8:00 am for Studio Directors, you do not have to be there at this time. If you come in after the registration time, please turn in your music to our sound/stage manager, who will be located at the back of the auditorium. Q.) WHEN WILL I GET A TIME-FRAME FOR MY ROUTINES? A.) Rainbow Connection will post the time-frame 10 days prior to the competition on our website at www.rainbowdance.com. All participating studios will receive a confirmation package in the mail containing a time-frame, map of the facility, cassette labels, and other important literature. As you know, the time frame is adjusted as studio's call in with a conflicts, (ie: costume changes, routines back 2 back. Etc.) An amended time-frame will be provided to the Studio Directors at the competition reflecting all changes. We attempt to work with all of our Studio Directors' and Dancers' special needs and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. REMEMBER IT IS BEST TO BE EARLY vs. LATE… Q.) I HAVE A NEW EMAIL ADDRESS? A.) Drop us a line with your new email address and we will update our database to keep you posted on upcoming events we have scheduled. Q.) WHAT DOES TAG END MEAN? A.) A tag ending is where the music has stopped and starts up again as the dancers exit the stage. Q.) HOW CAN I ENTER FOR DANCER OF THE YEAR? A.) You can enter to be in the Dancer Of The Year 1 hour prior to your solo performance. Simply fill out the Dancer Of The Year form, include a check for your entry fee turn it in and you will be judged at the same time as your solo performance! Q.) HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE TO WATCH THE COMPETITION? A.) There is no fee for watching the competition. Q.) I WAS CHOSEN AS A DANCER OF THE YEAR FINALIST AND NEED TO KNOW WHAT SIZE OR TYPE OF PHOTO I SHOULD SEND YOU. A.) Any size photo is acceptable, in either black & white or color. Headshots are preferred. Remember the program will show your photo in black & white. P. S. Congratulations… Q.) WHAT IS THE CHARGE FOR A COSTUME ENTRY FOR A GROUP? A.) The fee is $20.00 for the entire group. Q.) WHAT IS YOUR TENTATIVE SCHEDULE FOR YOUR 2005 FINALS COMPETITIONS? A.) The tentative schedule for our Branson and Anaheim Finals events are contingent upon the amount of entries received for each competition. Rainbow Connection reserves the right to adjust the schedule accordingly. |
