Dedication to Dance Award
| This is a special award for dance teachers and an opportunity for dance educators to be recognized for their special contribution to the lives of many young dancers today and in the past. Rainbow will honor at the Anaheim & Branson National Finals a teacher nominated by fellow peers, students and/or parents. A few things to consider: 1. Does your teacher spend endless hours making sure his or her pupils are ready for a competition without the extra pay and then attends endless weekends of competitions just to see the excitement of their dancers on stage? 2. Has your teacher made an impact on your child’s life by giving them confidence, encouragement and the ability to believe in themselves? 3. How many times has your teacher been through hard times with their Studio and always manages to bring it back to the level of happiness Studios should have no matter what. It is a fact that most dance teachers are not in it for the money, but for the love of teaching students the art of dance. Nominations can be sent from an individual or a studio group. The dance teacher chosen will be presented on stage at our National Finals in both Branson and Anaheim. To Enter: If you would like to see your dance teacher awarded the highest level of dedication to dance at Rainbow, here is what you do: Simply tell us in 300 words or less why your teacher should be recognized for their dedication to the art of dance. All entries must be typed or very clearly written and if you can include a photo of your teacher that would be great too! You can make your entry as creative or as funny as you wish.
